Site Statistics Update

As of today Tuesday March 29, 2007, the Google Search Engine is recognizing 208 active pages, with more pages being added daily. The DMOZ database was unavailable for the early part of 2007 so it wasn’t until February did we submit our site to the DMOZ project. It is anticipated our site should have a DMOZ listing within the next 30 to 90 days and prorogate throughout the search engine world shortly thereafter.

Oh a side note, we would like to personally thank Leroy Davis, the site developer and operator of http://www.interfacebus.com/ who has greatly contributed to our success. Thanks Leroy!

Blog Title Error on Individual Pages

This one has our people scratching their heads, and mine too! Apparently sense Google released their new Blogger version we’ve had issues with the Seneea.com header title, but only on individual pages, not the main blog page.

For some “odd” reason, the Seneea.com text gets filled in with a similar header bar color, rather then the white text selected. At first we thought Blogger was seeing the title as a link, but even removing the .com segment still does not correct the issue. Needless to say we’re stumped. So off to the news groups we go to see if this is a common problem.

Content and/or Page Errors Reported

This past weekends maintenance has caused some issues with the AdSense code on a number of pages, mostly in the Employment Law and Education Sections which is currently being addressed. Some advertisement locations are returning the message “You are not authorized to view this page”.

This error is an internal site wide code changeover and does not affect the content available to our users. Full site access is available to the public, contrary to this error message. It is anticipated this error will be resolved within the next 24 hours.

Site Maintenance Update

As of Sunday morning, March 25, 2007, the scheduled site maintenance is approximately 70 percent completed. Over the last 48 hours we have experienced slight disruptions with minimal impact to our users. If in-fact a page and/or a section are unavailable, the disruption has been typically less then 1 to 3 minuets. Again we greatly appreciate your understanding.

Scheduled Maintenance Announcement

On Friday March 23 thru Sunday March 25, Seneea.com will be intermittently conducting site maintenance throughout our entire site. Most of the activities should be transparent to our readers; however the likelihood of small sections of the site going offline for short periods of time is possible. We appreciate your understanding as we upgrade our services to improve our site.

Thank you,
The Seneea.com Staff

Weekly Prep

I received a few emails and calls today regarding several planned weekly activities and some very positive feedback from our legal and human resource contributors, so a very well deserved Thank You goes out to all of our teams who made the last two weeks a major success.

As we continue to expand our list of contributors, I’m very pleased to announce I have been invited up to Boston to coordinate discussions at Harvard which is scheduled for the end of March.

With the completion of the educational institution listings, part of our team has moved back to editing the content in the Start My Career section, which to date we have unfortunately set aside, that is until now. Stay tune for continued updates.

Colleges and University Listings Completed

School listings for each of the fifty states and Puerto Rico within the United States have been completed by or team today. The following states were uploaded within the last day.
